1. El Rac\u00f3 de la Calma\"\"<\/h3>\n

Tucked away in the heart of the old town, between the Maricel Palace and the Cau Ferrat Museum, lies this little spot that truly lives up to its name. The cobbled stone walls, the Gothic reliefs and the echo of the sea breaking just on the other side of the wall create an almost mystical atmosphere. It is the perfect spot to sit down in the middle of the afternoon to read a book or simply to listen to the sound of the waves in complete silence.<\/p>\n

2. The San Sebasti\u00e1n Cemetery\"\"<\/h3>\n

Although it may sound an unusual choice for a tourist itinerary, the old cemetery in Sitges is a true artistic gem right by the sea. It is home to impressive sculptures by renowned artists such as Josep Llimona and Agapit Vallmitjana. 3. The Terramar Gardens\"\"<\/h3>\n

At the end of the very long seafront promenade, far from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, lies Sitges\u2019 true green lung. Designed in the 1920s as part of a garden city, the Terramar Gardens are an oasis of native vegetation, featuring ponds with wooden bridges and shaded spots. It is the locals\u2019 favourite spot to unwind, take a leisurely stroll or enjoy a family picnic beneath centuries-old trees.<\/p>\n

4. The Levantina Viewpoint\"\"<\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re looking for the perfect panoramic photo of Sitges but want to avoid the crowds, you should head up to the La Levantina residential area. From its natural viewpoint, you can admire one of the best sunsets in the whole of the Garraf region. Watching the sky turn shades of red and pink whilst the lights of the town and the port of Aiguadol\u00e7 begin to come on is a simply spectacular experience.<\/p>\n

5. El Callej\u00f3n d\u2019en Bosc\"\"<\/h3>\n

It is one of the oldest, narrowest and most historic streets in Sitges. It formed part of the old medieval walled enclosure and connects Calle Mayor with the Town Hall area. Walking along it, beneath its stone arches and surrounded by old fishermen\u2019s houses with white fa\u00e7ades and blue windows, immediately transports you to another era.<\/p>\n
